 Tee off on our beautiful 6,548 yard, par 72 (rating 69.8) golf course, one of the finest courses in western North Carolina. Our bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens are maintained in top condition year round. Ponds, streams, and even a waterfall come into play on 14 of our 18 holes.
Over 60% of players walk our course. Four sets of tees are provided to challenge golfers of all ages and abilities. Several club tournaments are held throughout the year, as well as monthly tournaments sponsored by our Men’s and Women’s Golf Associations. You can also golf with any of the several golf groups that have tee times throughout the week, including our large couples golf league that finishes with a sundown dinner and enjoy nine holes of every Thursday.
Our golf complex features a full service pro shop, a driving range with both synthetic and natural grass hitting areas, a practice putting/chipping green, and a short game practice area with practice bunker. Golf instruction and clinics are available from our professional staff.

Golf Lessons
Golf lessons will be available beginning May 1 with Thomas Carpenter, a life member PGA golf professional and former head professional at Wade Hampton Golf Club for 13 years. He was also head golf professional at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club. He is a graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill.
He has worked for golf legend E. Harvie Ward in Pinehurst, NC as well as caddied on the LPGA tour for stars such as Jane Blalock, Sandra Palmer, Pat Bradley, Amy Alcott and Hollis Stacy. We are pleased he will be here to offer his expertise and wisdom; lessons may be arranged through the golf shop at 883-8175, ext. 27.
